Savor the freshest seafood at TSUKIJIMARKET
As one of the world’s largest and most exciting wholesale markets,TsukijiShijoappears in literally every guide book about Tokyo and has become a major tourist attraction.

TsukijiShijo handles over 2,000 tons of marine products per day, consists of an inner market where most of the wholesale business along with the famous tuna auctions takesplace, and an outer market whose retail shops and restaurants cater to the public.
Here, you may want toarrive early in the morning for the tuna auctions, or a bit later to experience the hustle and bustle of daily market life, as well as, of course, a yummysushi breakfast! There are plenty of sushi counters here, but to find best ones, you need to head to the restaurant area near the wholesale fruit and vegetable market, just inside the main gate off Shin-ohashi Street. And don’t forget to try the kaisen-don (seafood donburi) and the chu toro (fatty tuna).
