Gold ecological park is famous for its gold mine that was a popular place of gold miners in the 1900s. Nowadays, it becomes a gold museum that attracts thousands of tourists every year. Once entering into this place, you will be impressed by the beautiful views of waterfall and mountains. Besides, there are many food stalls and coffee shops where you can try out some specialties like black tea, soybean curd or traditional Taiwanese lunch box. However, most of people come here to touch the rare 220 kg gold bar one time in their life as well as experience many other interesting activities related to gold in this park such as: filter gold from the minerals by themselves, visit gold mining facility house, contemplate tiny statues of animal made from gold, explore tunnel leading to gold mines.

Taipei 101 is known as the tallest building tower of Taiwan as well as one of the pride of Taiwanese. You can make the most of entertainment at this amazing building tower from shopping, food experiences in hundreds of shops and restaurants to sightseeing. There is nowhere perfect for sightseeing than observation deck on the 89th floor of Taipei 101. This tower also offers the fastest elevator worldwide for tourists to move from the ground up to the 89th floor within 40 seconds. You can catch the whole gorgeous view of the city from here. The MRT station is so near from the foot of Taipei 101 is a good point for tourists to move around easily.

4.Release sky lantern at Shi Fen old street
Shi Fen old street is an ideal destination for people those who want to be in a romantic yet peaceful place. Tourists, especially couples come here to release sky lantern with the belief that sky lantern will raise their wishes and dreams up the blue sky. These lanterns are made of bamboo sticks and oil paper with many different colors. You can buy lantern at any souvenir shop on the old street then write down you wishes on it and together with your beloved, friends or family members release the lantern fly up to the sky. Apart from the sky lantern, do forget to walk around this place to catch some unique old corners that only exist in Shi Fen.

5.Climb Elephant mountain
Elephant mountain is right at the Taipei center that looks gorgeous both in the daytime and night. You can go to Elephant mountain every when you are free and stay for how long you want without any fee charge. It is not only the favorite place of tourists but also the popular spot of the residents because Elephant mountain is an ideal place for people to relax in green yet fresh space and enjoy the panorama of Taipei. There are many paths through the mountain that lead people to beautiful sightsee. Especially, the main path leading to the peak of Elephant mountain is paved by paving-stone that helps you reach to the top and contemplate view of the whole city easily.

6.Taipei zoo
Taipei zoo was established since 1914 with the arms to protect the animals on the verge of extinction and raise people’s awareness of protecting animals. Come to this largest zoo in Asia, you will have chance to be away from the chaotic of modern city and see many different animals come from all over the world such as Asian black bears, Chinese pangolins, monkeys come from Asian rainforests, camel and antelopes from Africa or cute pandas-the emissary of peace...etc. Apart from seeing real animals, you can learn more about nature, ecosystem and nature sanctuary at the education center of the zoo. Or you can experience the dinosaur museum that exhibits giant models of dinosaur the most ferocious animal in the prehistoric age.

8. Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
This is the commemorative place of Chiang Kai-Shek, the very first president of The Republic if China. Come to this place you will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of Chiang Kai-Shek and China in the 20th century. It is a huge and fantastic architecture that covers an area of over 25 hectares with decisive colors are white and blue. It is said that these decisive colors are symbolic of freedom, compassion and equality. There are 89 footsteps leading to the main house of Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall that symbolic of 89 years of Chiang Kai-Shek life. Get into the main house; you will see many things that were used under his time and several other his belongings. 9.Beitou Geothermal valley
Beitou Geothermal valley is a must visit place in your trip to Taipei. This place belongs to Xinbeitoupark and it is famous for the hot springs that have the temperature of the water can be up to 100 Celsius. The amazing temperature of water here makes tourists entering the Xinbeitou park feel as though they are going to a fairy land because the ethereal mist rises up from the hot water. In the past, tourists even can boil eggs in this hot spring, however, at present for some reasons you are not allowed anymore. Despite that prevention, this spot is still a well-known and favorite destination for both tourists and the locals to come and set your body relax in this healthy and free place.

10.Visit Shilin night market
Shilin is Taipei’s largest and best-known night market in Shilin district with the convenience of an MRT Station nearby. It was established in the 19th and it has developed rapidly after the World War II. Previously, the old Shilin market was on Jihe Road. Then the new Shilin Night Market is now located on Danan Rd. by Zicheng Temple (Zichenggon), which takes about a 5-10-minute walk from MRT Station.

Shilin Night Market is one of the most Taipei tourist attractive night markets for the locals and oversea visitors. Shilin Market is extremely crowded at night that gets its fame for a wide array of authentic Taiwan eateries and fashionable clothing. Most of the shops are an indoor enclosure, other shops and stalls can be seen along the streets. Apart from experiencing nice shops, you can have a chance to see many stalls that selling typical and street food of Taipei, see how they cook the dishes as well. The building of Shilin Night Market has three basement floors and one ground floor. Two basement levels (B2&B3) are used for car parking while B1 is for 94 food vendors and Taiwanese snacks.
