Kowloon Park

Located in the center of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, Kowloon Park is among the largest parks in Kowloon. It covers an area of about 13.5 hectares and is considered as the 'green lung' of the city.

The park boasts plenty of beautiful trees, flowers, and rare birds, as well as scenic spots for tourists to enjoy. There are 7 main scenic spots including the Chinese Garden, Color Garden, Maze Garden, Roof Gardens, Banyan Court and Bird Lake. Other than that, the park also has a mini soccer pitch, Children's Playground, Discovery Playground, the Fitness Trail, Sculpture Walk & Sculpture Garden, a swimming pool and a sports center. The swimming pool here is one of the best equipped in Hong Kong and can hold up to 1500 people.

Sheung Luk Stream

With its many features from cascades and pools to cliffs and gorges, Sheung Luk Stream is one of the largest streams in Hong Kong.

Among the 8 falls along the stream, the Chong Yau Falls is the biggest.You can climb up the fall along the natural steps to the left. Head a little further to find Ben Cho Falls at the end of the stream, where a strip of narrow, fast-flowing water slides down the slope from 45 feet above.

The Pearl River Delta

The Pearl River Delta, between Hong Kong and Macau, is home to about one thousand Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphins –also known as Sousa Chinensis. Somehow, the color of this type of dolphin living along Chinese coast is bright pink and they are considered as the pinkest dolphins in the world.

So, what else are you waiting for other than taking a tour to Pearl River Delta and meet these awesome little pink friends!

Pui O Beach

Located in the south of Lantau Island, Pui O Beach features miles of beautiful white sand, and no rocks, making it a perfect spot for all kinds of outdoor adventures.

Here you can go surfing/canoeing, sunbathe, have a nice swim, or just simply laze by the beach and relax under the sun.It is also wonderful for tent camping or kayaking to other places since kayaks can be rented. Other than that, there are several small islands and inlets around so you can row out to, whereas the trails in this area lead to some of Hong Kong's best camping and hiking areas.

The beach offers great facilities such as bathrooms, free showers, tables, café, BBQ grills, lifeguard services, and shark nets. There is an outdoor adventures team venue, as well as a kiosk for renting surfboards and other equipment.

Lamma Island

From a traditional Chinese fishing village to a rich multicultural community, Lamma Island offers a nice blend of Western and Chinese life, making it a favorite place for any day-trippers in Hong Kong.

This 13-squared-kilometer island is covered in thick jungle, features peaceful villages, with just 5000 residents, gorgeous seafood restaurants and stretches of empty golden sand. It’s also a great place to get away from the hectic life in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.

There is a pleasant trail for you to discover the whole island. Get start at Yung Shue Wan, where local and Western eateries lie side by side along with shops selling exotic arts and crafts of all kinds, then follow the Family Walk through stunning beaches and enjoy magnificent sea views, and finish your trip in the traditional fishing village of Sok Kwu Wan.
