Why Zaini Satay is special ?
Zaini Satay was founded by Haji Mohd Zaini bin Ismail and his wife, Harinson Ahmad (known as Kak Cun) since early 80's. They are the expert in making the best satay in Malaysia.
Must try dish:
Satay or sate, is a dish of seasoned, skewered and grilledmeat, served with a sauce.
Carrying on the legacy of Majid Satay, one of the first satay sellers in the city, this place serves the best satay, chunky chicken and beef satay. The beef satay is exceptional with a tender juicy texture, since tenderloin meat is used. You will be spoiled for choice here, as you can enjoy sloppy Om Burgers at the stall across the street or even order roti bom with butter chicken at the next stall.

Tips for you
Need not travel far for one of the best satay in town. Juicy and chunky meat grill to perfection. Certainly value for money. The peanut sauce is just nice with right amount of chili. Need no additional sambal. This satay is by far supersede the popular satay chain which do not even come close in quality. Suggest to come early for satay perut kecil and mutton satay or else you will be disappointed. The Zaini couple start operating around 6 pm till mid night if they do not run out. The neighbouring store serve fresh fruit juice which goes very well with the satay.
This satay stall has a history. The satay is made in the tradition of Majid Satay back in the 1950s. The gravy is excellent, even when it is eaten with rice. Try asking for the exotic satays such as satay perut and satay limpa. Their satay kambing is not kambing, it is actually lamb. Very yummy and highly recommended to bring visitors from out of town here.
Sate kambing yang teramat amat superb! No doubt the best satay I've ever had. RM1.50 maybe quite pricy for a stick of mutton satay but every penny spent on a stick is worthy. Chicken satay were good 2
