Let me start by saying we spent two full weeks in Japan, ate at a lot of places but this one deserves a special mention. We started our trip with a visit to the Tsukiji Market with a Tokyoite, and this place is up to par. We had a delicious selection of sashimi and rolls, salmon roe, and eel. Conger eel sashimi was particularly delicious. Not English spoken, but chef will help with an English menu with pictures. The place is small, my husband and I waited around 10-12 mins to be seated at the sushi bar. We were there Nov 1 at 2ish. This was one of the best sushi we had. Besides the food, the location is convenient because it's close to the Nishiki market, across the street from Daimaru and other shops, and plenty of buses run on Shijo-dori (dori means street).
