Why Tropical Fruit Farm is special ?
Malaysia has been a melting pot for many races, religions and cultures. It too has been home for some 370 species of edible fruits including exotic ones to suit even the fussiest eater. Tropical Fruit Farm was built to preserve our green heritagae. As a contribution to future generations of Malaysia, we have planted all types of local fruits as well as fruits from around the world. We want the farm to play its positive role towards agriculture despite the intensive development in our country's rural area. Here on the 25-acre Tropical Fruit Farm, we have more than 250 types of tropical and sub-tropical fruits. Some of which will tantalise your taste buds. Not only are they delectable, they are also rich in natural vitamins, minerals and fibres too.
What to explore at Tropical Fruit Farm?
There will be farm tours conducted periodically during the day. This is a fully guided tour with explanation and fresh fruit sampling along the way. The tour goes for about 45 mins to 1 hour. After the farm tour, you will be able to relax and take in the breath taking view. While enjoying a wide variety of freshly cut fruits and a glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice.

Did the tour including fruit buffet and found it extremely Interesting and enjoyable. The fruit buffet was fantastic and had envy kind of fruit you can think of in Malaysia! Also bought the most amazing coconut oil for skin which has been fantastic on cuts and sores, healing them quicker than usual. Would recommend a visit to anyone!
this is not a review of the actual tour. But i just want to comment that the staffs are extremely rude. So better not drop by if you just wanna check out the place like we did...(AND trust me, i don't think i m the fussy type and in fact have never written any negative reviews for others)The entry price was RM35 per person, included a 'fruit buffet' and the tour. Since we already had a big lunch already, I asked the staff if we could just go around the farm without tour guides like we did at the tropical spice garden(paying of cos). I was immediately mocked by teh male staff at the cashier. He said "either you join the tour and pay the RM35 or you don't get the tour. No self-tour!" in very rude manner, The other girl behind the counter also giggled abit and said some stuff in Malay. I did not want to ruin my mood so ignored him.I went to get the juice and my dad went to get some fruits instead to eat at hotel. When I believed he overcharged us, I askd them how much it is a kilo. Then again, the same man and girl showed impatient looks and replied. i asked why is the price double the price showing on the price list behind her. She said, "well, we have many kinds of papaya, the one we chosen is not the ones on the price list". Right, thats useful...maybe they should give reasons that make sense for chargin double since there was only one kind of papaya there. Otherwise, update the price lists.
We enjoyed the Tropical Fruit Tree Farm visit as we finally saw what the fruit trees look like. We saw trees bearing durian, nonni, lime, dragon fruit, avocado and many others. After a 20 minute of tree viewing, we were ushered to the fruit buffet which include fresh fruit juice of choice.
