Why Trekking on the shore of Lake Inle is special ?
Trekking on the shore of Lake Inle is a great introduction to the culture and scenery of the Shan States for those looking to add a taste of adventure to a Myanmar tour. The lake itself is the territory of the Intha, a culturally distinct people who are thought to have migrated here from the Dawei area of southern Myanmar in the 18th century. Walking from village to village through spectacular highland scenery, you’ll be presented with stunning views and exceptional cultural encounters.
