Why Tinh Gia Vien is special ?
Tinh Gia Vien Restaurant, owned by Madame Ha, is located 500m east of the Royal Citadel. Madame Ha’s standards are equally high for her restaurant’s ambience and presentation. Entering the private mansion that is Tinh Gia Vien is akin to infiltrating an enchanted land. The gardens are resplendent with tropical flowers, fountains, delicate bonsai and lush trees. Ornate red and gold tables on the large balconies are attended by waitresses dressed in traditional Hue costumes, complete with halo-like headdresses.
A Vietnamese celebrity, royal descendent Madam Ha shares her knowledge of imperial cuisine through her restaurant and class. Every dish is a delicious work of art. The traditional garden courtyard is a perfect venue for sampling the treasures of the past and learning the secrets neccessary to replicate the recipes yourself. Set menus and a la carte are available.

Tips for you
Last March I had a trip with my friends. And we were really lucky to choose this restaurant a destination. This restaurant very nice, delicious food, reasonable prices,i like it. My friends, they come from Thailand and Japan, they told me they like Vietnam food and I'm very proud of it. Next time,I visit Hue, certain I will come to this restaurant again,sure... Thank your restaurant
The food is served in astonishing displays of artistry - flowers and creatures created from vegetables, intricately carved and arranged in beguiling pictures - but they not only look incredible they also taste delicious. Mme Ha, the well-known manager, was not in evidence the day we dined there, but her daughter was very accommodating and charming.
