Tips for you
There are two old cinemas in Kampot. One has been demolished all bar the facade but thankfully this one is still standing although in dire need of a makeover. I went inside as was met by a nice lady who was welcoming but spoke very little English. It was almost too dark to take photos and a bit gloomy but gave off a certain ghostly atmosphere. Hopefully it will be preserved or tastefully restored but with a brand new cinema opening up 100 yards or so away that now seems unlikely. A piece of history but architecture or film buffs will appreciate it more.
