Tips for you

  • Most cafés will also accompany your coffee with some free iced tea.
  • It's hidden in an alley, you have to look carefully to find the entrance of the building.
  • It is very hard to find this place. Don’t give up when you ask the neighbours on the street and they tell you that the café is closed. This is probably not true, just keep on asking.
  • Be careful on choosing parking space, in front of the shop next to the hotel inside alley costs less than other place around. Do mention you are going to Morning Cafe.
  • If you ride a bike, the easiest way is parking it at Taka plaza (on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia st.) and walk for 5 mins to the small alley.

This is a hidden gem! There are tons of coffee shops in Saigon, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. It’s low key, serving great coffee, and super friendly staff. The music selection is perfect, very relaxing, just the right volume. It’s a great hide out from the hustle bustle of Saigon, plus AC makes it so comfortable. It’s a great place to unwind, tap into some creative thinking, have a romantic conversation, or simply enjoy small bites and great coffee.

Hidden away in an alley up and up 2 flights of stairs you enter paradise. A nice relaxing cafe with few visitors, and a perfect atmosphere. If it is to sit and do some work on your computer or just to get away from the city to relax and read a book - this is the place! The people who work here are always welcoming and will gladly have a chat with you too if you're up for it. And let's not forget; the coffee is good too!
