Why The Boudoir is special ?
The Boudoir, as its name suggests, oozes French style and romance while serving the best of French rustic cuisine. It is run by a friendly French couple who are passionate about the best of French ingredients, particularly from their native Provence. Fine French cheeses, slow-roasted meat dishes that fall off the bone, frogs legs, foiegras and fine patisserie–all these and more are served up in their inimitable style. Hidden away in the jungle at Mae Nam, Stephan and Isabelle have built a home from home that has become one of the most sought after restaurants on the island.
Must try dishes
Goats cheese salad,

Reviews
Somewhere last year I went house searching with a new colleague and stumbled upon a house and have a chat with the owner and found out he owns a French restaurant somewhere in Maenam, I kept that in mind that I have to try someday but couldn't remember the name of it, last 2 weeks we celebrated our colleague's birthday in this particular French restaurant that they were ratting about how good this place is, so I went and then realized it's that french restaurant that I wanted to visit for a long long time and after the meal I immediately regretted why didn't I come here way earlier than I should???! I am the last person on earth who likes fine dining cuisine especially Italian or French as the menu is usually filled with description that I don't like to read. the menu in boudoir is however a chalk board where the lady owner brings it in after seating you down, simple and clear. I especially like the starter platter with cheese and salami, and the sliced foie gras served with toasted bread. If you like duck, they serve pretty good stewed duck too! The location of the restaurant is a small bungalow turned into restaurant, feel like home when you get it and of course the fantastic service from both owner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)
