Tembi Rumah Budaya is a best place to spend your day in Yogya. It has museum, amphitheater, swimming pool, restaurant and resort. The restaurant is a place that i regularly visit everytime i go to Yogya. They have great Javanese food in a very cheap price. Bakmi Jawa (Javanese noodle soup), Bakmie goreng (fried noodle), mendoan and pisang goreng (fried battered tempeh and banana fritters) are among my fave dishes. They also serve a fried little birdie for those who fancy extreme food. When you done with the meals you can also visit the museum in this Rumah Budaya complex. They also organize some batik courses for those who are interested.
