When reading up about the Golden Budda, I wasn't that bothered. It isn't however until you get there and actually stand before this giant budda that you realise how magnificent it actually is. I was really quite impressed. There ar5e loads of things like this to see in Vietnam, so if you don't get to see it don't stress over it. It did however make our trip all the more interesting for seeing it.
