What to explore at Sorya Shopping Centre?
On the ground floor is a large branch of Lucky’s Supermarket which is a well supplied grocery. Other stores and vendors sell jewelry, clothes and cosmetics. If you love ice cream we suggest you make a stop at the famous Swensen’s restaurant. On the ground floor you also find ATMs if you are short on cash.
On the first to the third floors you can shop all kinds of products including: Clothes, Shoes, Children’s toys, Electronics, DVD’s, CD’s, Games, Bags, Jewelry, Watches and Cosmetics. On each floor are branches of different fast food chains which are ideal to grab a quick snack.
On the fourth floor is a food corner serving local dishes and a branch of the Pizza Company. If you want to try some of the local dishes you must change your money to coupons at the red counter. With these coupons you can pay for your food directly at your favorite stall. Don’t forget to redeem your unused coupons before you leave the Sorya Shopping Center as they are only valid for one day – you can’t use or redeem them the next day! On the top floor is the Platinum Cineplex which shows the newest blockbusters from Hollywood besides local productions. All cinemas are air conditioned (not as cold as Thai cinemas but still pretty cool) with comfortable seating. The entrance fee for 2D movies is $3 and for 3D movies is $5. Tips for you
Free outdoor terrace on Level 6. Nice view over PP & Central Market.
Air-conditioned! Many shops and kiosks, selling the same stuff. It's nice to walk around, and people-watch from one of the many benches. There is a food court upstairs, and a few restaurants like Pizza Company, BBQ Chicken, BBWorld, and Lucky Burger (tables are still covered in flies). I like the cinema there, I got to see Jurassic Park 3D for only $5. Popcorn and coke were $2.50. The Khmer people did a lot of screaming when the dinosaurs attacked! Lots of fun. I ate twice at BBQ chicken, I think it is a Korean chain. I had a nice salad with chicken pieces for $3.90. Large coke was $1.20. If you live htere you can get TVs etc. Lots of jewelry.
