Rosy Guest House was my home away from home in Siem Reap. I was going to stay 3 nights and ended up spending my an entire week! It wasn't the location, comfortable bed, or delicious affordable food that gets my five stars -- it was the staff! I arrived at Rosy's tired, hangry, and a little hanxious. Smiley, the non-owner owner of this fine establishment sat down with me and helped me plan out my time. He was so patient and kind and put up with all of my attitude :) He helped me figure out which Angkor temples to go to and hooked me up with another traveler to explore with the next day since I was traveling alone. On my last day, he took me off-roading to hidden Angkor temples around Cambodia and basically showed me the best time ever! He also fully supported my love of Braxton, the fat bar cat who loves belly rubs. Smiley is such a wealth of knowledge about Cambodia and always has a big smiley smile waiting for you when you get back to the guest house. Shout out to Simon and Thea for all of their help too! The place wasn't the fanciest but it was comfortable and all of their help and kindness made my stay incredible. I would recommend Rosy's to everyone! ...And I wish it was legal to bring Cambodian cats back to California.
