We ate at the Gypsy restaurant, almost the last one on the left on the sea front. The staff helped us choose fresh fish from the market stalls and cooked it beautifully. They were fantastically friendly and even joined in songs with us.

Not a beach! Especially if you compare with all the others like nai harn and karon, kata. this is Just a sea front. We hung around here one morning between 9 and 12 noon. The massage places open after 11am. We were lucky to have 2 ladies at Kim's agreeable to start early and give us a foot massage at 10 am. Nice! The shell shops near the pier have interesting things, but limited in communication - no English. So it's not easy to talk of packaging etc.

Friendly staff and extensive menu, reasonable food and good drink list. location was right on the beach so it had a real coastal feel to it. Didn't eat anywhere else on Rawai Beach as this was the only eatery on the beach side.

What a little pretty beach it is. Not a tourist type place. Take your own mat or towel to spread on the sand as there are no beach beds. U can see other smaller islands from here. We were told by chai our driver that we can hire a long tail boat to visit the nearby islands for lovely beaches. There were boats available but they were on one side and did not damage the beauty of the beach. We were unfortunate t have less time there as we were with a drover. Saw people eating seafood right near the beach and it looked lovely under the shade of the tree s. Instead of taking a worth less phi phi island tour spend a lovely day here
