Why Purr Cat Cafe Club is special ?

Purr Cat Cafe Club aims to be a one-stop club that offers all services revolving around felines: a cat cafe, a gallery displaying cat-themed artwork, a shop selling hand-made cat accessories and a cat shower station. The second floor will house a cat hotel, where owners can hire cat-sitting either by day or night, that will open within this year. The concept first started in Japan, where most people who didn't have enough space to have pets, nevertheless, could get their I-want-to-interact-with-an-animal fix at these cafes where customers can play with furry friends. There's a small English garden with white cast iron furniture that gives a very Anglo and feminine atmosphere before you even step inside. The cafe part is divided into two zones: one room is for people to bring their own cats to play in, while the other room houses 14 of the owner's cats.

Must try dishes:

Purr Cat brownies with ice cream - 120 baht (US$ 3.4 )

Scones with topping - 120 baht (US$ 3.4 )

Cookie Cat Dip - 85 baht (US$ 2.4 )

The hot chocolate - 100 baht (US$ 2.8)

Tips for you

  • You have to pay 200 bath for entrance fee if you're not planning to get anything to eat, otherwise you have to buy their set menu.
  • Purr Cat Cafe offers a lot of photo-opportunities, but please do not use the flash on your camera or you will stun the kitties.
  • Purr Cat Cafe is located on a quiet residential street in a small house, look out for the sign on the left hand side of the road.
  • The tables and floor cushions are the most popular spots for both cats and guests so be sure to get here early if you want to sit amongst the cats.
  • Before you enter you have to take off your shoes, wash your hands and read the cat rules – don't poke them, tease then, pick them up or feed them human cake.
    Things to do
  • Cats are actually quite gentle, but bring new toys with you or buy milk if you want them to come to you.

The Purr Cat Cafe is worth the money! The cats are hilarious and super friendly. The staff is great and you can tell they love working there. The drinks and cakes are really good. My kids (ages 14, 9, and 4) has a fantastic time. We spent an hour and a half hanging out with the cats. you can feed them, pet them, play with cat toys with them. It was nonstop entertainment. Very worth the visit and has great wifi!

Obviously a great place if you like cats. There's about 15-20 of them lounging around at any given time. Food/drinks are a bit pricey, but worth the experience. Perfect place for gentle kids & dates.
