Why Porta is special ?
Porta is situated right in the basement of Kyoto Station, Porta has a long history of its having multi-connected shops, including all kinds of restaurants, cafes, Kyoto's souvenir specialty shops, clothing shops and free Wi-Fi rest spots. This is area shared by tourists and Kyoto's citizens alike as it has something for everyone.
Porta's store list includes a number of restaurants and cafes as well as retail outlets. Restaurants and cafes include branches of Inoda Coffee and Starbucks and Tagoto, which offers Japanese cuisine, such as set lunches, at a reasonable price. Stores include shops to pick up souvenirs such as folding fans, combs and Kyoto's famous tsukemono (pickles), a nail salon, an eyelash salon, a shaving salon, as well as a number of mainly women's fashion outlets and a Uniqlo.

Right at the bus stops of Kyoto City Bus (Aquarium Shuttle Bus), Keihan Kyoto Kotsu Bus or every bus stop of West Japan JR Bus “Kyoto Eki-mae”.
Get off at JR “Kyoto Station”. Located right outside Karasuma East exit.
Right outside “Kyoto Station” of the Kyoto City Subway Karasuma line.
Get off at Kintetsu “Kyoto Station”. About 5 min walk.
