I've seen people taking pictures are 3D museum before and it's my first experience here in Phuket. the entrance fee is 500baht per pax and they only take credit card. You have to take off your shoes so for those with slippers it will be easier. You get to enjoy the picture taking once you are inside...The have a guide on the floor as to where the camera person should stand to capture a realistic shot. There are hundreds of pictures to take from and if you are lucky there is no crowd when you are get to go from one picture to another without having to queue for it and you can take as many shots as you want. You can easily spend 2 hours there...and it is a fun place to be with your family or friends. the place is clean and that must be the reason for the no shoe policy.
