Why Phi Phi Market is special ?
Phi Phi Market is located in the central part of Tonsai Village, the market is held every day and features a great choice of local and exotic products – fruits, vegetables, seafood – that you could find later in your plate at most of Phi Phi restaurants. Ton Sai, the main village on Phi Phi Don, has a great selection of amenities for the traveller. Restaurants serve good quality Thai and Western food, there is a small market area whose primary wares are jewellery and handicrafts as well as CDs and DVDs and bungalows and guest houses abound, catering to a wide range of clientele.
Apart from seafood and coconut, no food is produced in Phi Phi; everything is imported from Phuket and Krabi. Besides fresh products (and in the same vein as any market in Thailand), the main interest of Phi Phi Market is the ready-made snacks available here at rock-bottom prices: steamed or fried skewers, sautéed meat, fish, noodle, and vegetable, all favourites of Thai street food can be found and sampled at Phi Phi Market.

What to explore at Phi Phi Market?
The ideal time for a Thai lunch that women cook on their stand, in large woks in which meat, fish, rice, noodles, vegetables and fruits, quiver : sauteed, fried, in soup or salad and so on.
On the shelves, the inscriptions are not always in English and you must dare to explore new tastes. Furthermore, it's very cheap. Starting with the skewers of meat, fish and vegetables, which costs 15 baht, the sweet and savory donuts around 20 Baht and the tray of fresh fruit, which do not exceed 30 Baht. It is also an opportunity to get in touch with the people of Phi Phi!
