Why Petronas Twin Towers is special ?
What to explore at Petronas Twin Towers?
Soaring to a height of 451.9 metres, the 88-storey twin structure is Kuala Lumpur's crown jewel. Majestic by day and dazzling at night, the PETRONAS Twin Towers is inspired by Tun Mahathir Mohamad's vision for Malaysia to be a global player. Together with master architect Cesar Pelli, the international icon powerfully captures the nation's ambitions and aspirations.
Visit it and experience the PETRONAS Twin Towers first-hand. Begin your tour with interactive displays that showcase the journey, from idea to completion. Scale 170 metres in an elevator with a futuristic edge. The doors will open at the Skybridge, a connecting structure between the towers and the world's highest 2-storey bridge. Ascend even higher to level 86, where the story of Malaysia's vision unfolds amid breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur. Then wrap up your visit with exquisite souvenirs at the gift shop.

The skybridge on level 41 and 42 of the twin towers is one of its main attractions.
Admission ticket to the sky bridge is limited. First come first serve basis. Be ere before 8 AM if you want to get tickets! (:
You can walk between the two buildings via a public walkway located halfway up their total height of 452 m. – Green Guide Editor
Admission to Sky-bridge is free on a first-come-first serve basis. But It is advised to queue up early for tickets as only a limited number are allowed to go up.
They were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 surpassed by Taipei 101, but they remain the tallest twin building in the world.
When we visited it was the tallest building of the world. Some will argue visiting the tower is awesome in day light, but I think night time visit more beautiful. In the morning there is a big queue for getting the pass to go to the viewing gallery, unfortunately we could not do so and still I feel I made a mistake by not going to the viewing platform to see the beauty of KL city from atop of the PETRONAS towers.
Evening show was better; get tickets the day before you want to visit if possible; online booking did not work;
Book in advance, the desk is in the basement and there are only 800 tickets available per day. Tours only, very touristy.
