Why PDR - Pizza da Roby is special ?
The pizza crust is absolutely to die for and the ingredients such as blue cheese and Speck (italian meat) just makes it the best pizza in town and in the whole of Laos. Pizza is served on a round wooden chopping board. The crust is thin and crunchy. The toppings are imported from Italy and they are authentic.
The beer is slightly on the expensive side at 14 000 kip. Service was good. They also provide delicious pepper, garllic and chili oils that are packed with flavor.
Small menu means an attention to details to every meals. The owner and staff are very nice and helpful. The chef take a moment when is not busy to say hello.
A small place with a lot of charm, same as in Italy! The upstairs has airco.

Reviews
If you're fed up of eating roast chicken or fried rice with vegetables and yearn for some western comfort food then I would strongly recommend visiting this Italian Pizza Restaurant in the Sihome backpacker area of Vientiane. Run by a friendly Italian guy, his pizzas are absolutely delicious using authentic ingredients many times brought directly from Italy by his friends and Family. The pizza crust is absolutely to die for and the ingredients such as blue cheese and Speck (italian meat) just makes it the best pizza in town and in the whole of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam as far as I'm concerned! The only down side to all of this is my waist size which is going up as I keep visiting this place every time I return to Vientiane.
A very simple place, with a simple menu and very simple prices, but with great food!Pizza is served on a round wooden chopping board. The crust is thin and crunchy as I like. The toppings are imported from Italy and they are authentic. Very much recommended!P.S: To answer the dude that wrote that Italians don't put hot dog sausage on pizza, I am Italian and a pizza lover, if you actually visit Italy, you will find in every single pizzeria, Pizza ai Wurstel (which is pizza with hot dog sausage)!so I am sorry but you don't know what you are talking about!
We accidently ended up in this fantastic little restaurant. A pearl in this dusty backpackers area. Roby is an Italian cook with lots of passion for the dishes he prepares, everything is home made and delicious! Look no further, best non-stick food we had in 2 months Asia.
