Why Noy's Fruit Heaven is special ?
Homely, colourful juice bar with Chinese paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling. This cute little café serves up gourmet sandwiches, such as imported feta, Camembert, or goat cheese melted onto fresh baguettes, and various breakfast options, as well as any sort of tropical fruit smoothie you can dream up. The lively owner Noy also rents bicycles, sells traditional crafts, and gives impromptu Lao lessons upon request. A great hangout spot to meet other travelers.

Prices went up since Lonely Planet recognition... That's a pity. The fruit is good.
We stumbled across this little gem when we first arrived in Vientiane after the bus threw us out at a random location. In search of wifi to get our bearings and in need of lunch, we were greeted at Noy's with a welcoming smile. Clearly family run with everyone chipping in to help (it was Sunday so kids weren't at school) we had a tasty, filling baguette each while I tried a Laos style iced coffee and my partner a Mango smoothie, both were delicious. If you're looking for a mid morning or afternoon break from the heat, temples and shops of Vientiane, this is a place to go. It's very central and easy to find. Go go go
This place is a MUST SEE when you come to Vientiane. Noy advertises fruit drinks out the front, but also serves a range of other (fresh) western foods, and very good coffee. Excellent, attentive staff, who greet eveyone with a bright, smiley "Sa Bai Dee". Their fruit salad became our regular breakfast and we recommend their mango drinks and coffee.
for the health foodie or fresh food nut, I don't think you can go past this place. The food is always amazingly fresh, don't know if it's organic but very fresh. Fruit shakes and smoothies are awesome and the Baguettes you could not get fresher they are delivered warm out of their ovens. Service can be a little slow and WIFi could do with a beef up to handle traffic, otherwise very cool.
