Why Night market in Bagan is special ?
Night market in Bagan is located in a compound along the side of Bu Pagoda and will feature about 80 souvenir shops and restaurants. It was inaugurated on November 26 – ahead of the three-day Greater Mekong Sub-region conference and travel mart – and is open from 6pm to 9pm daily. Bagan's nightlife is about as fast-paced as its horse carts but this looks set to change with the opening of a night market. Tourists can see the sunset by the Ayeyarwady River over the Bu Pagoda. And it is near Tharabar Gate and several hotels located close to the pagoda. Many restaurants from Mandalay, Taunggyi, Inle and Bagan would open in the complex.
