Why Nathan Horton Photography Day Tours is special ?
Nathan Horton Photography offers photographic workshops, field trips and short tours in and around Phnom Penh and further a field in Cambodia. A combination of teaching and practical experience in a number of different stimulating environments is designed to help participants to take better travel photos whilst also getting to see Cambodia in a slightly different way. A real emphasis is put on engaging with local people.

Spent 2 days with Nathan then added another day private tour. Great to have his expertise on the technical aspects but the local knowledge and access Nathan has built with the monasteries, and local people is the biggest advantage. I came away with some great pictures and my photography is better now because of Nathan
I spent 2 weeks travelling and photographing in the South of Cambodia before flying from Sihanoukville to meet up with Nathan Horton in Siem Reap. Whilst I really enjoyed my first 2 weeks they were nothing compared to the fabulous trip Nathan provided. His naturally easy way with the locals, always with a broad smile, helps no end when it comes to persuading someone, even monks, to have their picture taken. The knowledge he has built up of places, the best time to go and how to avoid coachloads of Chinese / Korean tourists is something you could never do yourself. Not only is he a brilliant photographer who has worked around the world but he is passionate about the people, the environment and all things Cambodia. He is also very willing to help and pass on his considerable knowledge to those on the tour and for anyone considering visiting this part of the world, I would highly recommend contacting him. This country is breath-taking and Nathan made the whole experience on the tour something truly wonderful to remember. Excellent value and I hope to do another trip with him in a couple of years’ time.
Pros: Flexible, interactive, informative, good value for money, Nathan very experienced and a great way to see PPCons: Handouts weren't great but I don't think that is normal.Would definitely recommend it for the budding tourist photographer
My husband & I spent 2 weeks in Siem Reap. We spent 4 great days with Nathan. Nathan is wonderful, open, sharing & so generous with his contacts & knowledge in Angkor. The photo tips & photo opportunities really opened up some great shots & photos for us. The hotel we stayed in was beautiful & the food in their resturant was very good. Naomi, Nathan's assistant was a joy & nice addition to our trip. As I look through our photos I'm amazed at what some great teaching can do to bring up my level of photography. Can be couples, friends or solo.
