Why Nami Boracay is special ?

Nami is restaurant in Nami Resort in Boracay island. Perched on a hilltop along Diniwid Beach, getting to this restaurant can pose some challenges as you will have to contend with narrow pathways and staircases. But this is the price to pay for absolute privacy and one of the most spectacular views on the island. At Nami resort restaurant, you can start your day with a champagne brunch, lounging on spacious sofa and feasting on gourmet creations, all while enjoying the crisp tropical breeze of Boracay Island.

Must try dishes :

Spanakopita - a thin crunchy philo pastry that dives into a soft, creamy feta cheese and spinach filling with diablo sauce for a tinge of spice

Garlic-infused Filipino-Spanish dish salpicao - topped with homemade potato chips, and best taken with garlic rice on the side

Greek salad - a balanced and refreshing combination of crushed caramelised cashew nuts, grilled chicken strips, and a dash of honey on a vinaigrette dressing

    What to know

This restaurant probably has one of the best views of any restaurants in Boracay - perched on a cliff top overlooking Diniwid beach. You take a rickety elevator up which is quiet an experience and the views are spectacular. Food was delicious, I particularly recommended the breakfast of smoked Tanigue on poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce. Best time to go is breakfast or lunch or afternoon tea. Contrary to other recommendations on sunset viewing, I don't think this place has the best sunset as it is the wrong facing. White Beach or Shangri-La would still be better for catching sunsets or take a paraw sail out for sunsets.

Honestly, the food was mediocre. But, I doubt people come here to eat, the view from the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. Just a warning, you have to ride a rickety wooden elevator to get here.
