Why Myodai Omen Kodaiji is special ?
Omen Kodaiji filled is one of the first high-quality restaurants to open along the tourist strip that runs between Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Maruyama-koen Park. It’s a branch of the famous Omen main store that’s located near Ginkaku-ji Temple. The signature udon noodles are the way to go here, but there are plenty of other things to choose from, all served in a light and airy building.
This branch of Kyoto’s famed Omen noodle chain is the best place to stop while exploring the Southern Higashiyama district. It’s in a remodelled Japanese building with a light, airy feeling. The signature udon (thick white wheat noodles) are delicious and there are many other à la carte offerings.
