The first impression is of a rather humble walk through enclosure with free flying butterflies. Do not underestimate the extent of this museum. On arrival we were greeted by a guide who explained the types of butterflies that were flying in the enclosure. This was very pleasant and interesting, and we then realised that the there was also a 2/3 storey building housing numerous display cases containing preserved butterflies and insects. All the cases had descriptions including where the items were found across the world. This represents a massive collection and is definitely worth visiting to see examples of creatures that you would probably never see in real life.
This museum is hidden in an alley but very accessible. When we arrived we were greeted immediately with a guide, who took us through their butterfly conservatory. This place is amazing! You get to be immersed in butterfly heaven, with butterflies and their cocoons and caterpillars everywhere. The tour guide is not only knowledgeable but also friendly. We were on a tight schedule but still had loads of fun. Will definitely come again!
