How to get to Mor Mu Dong?
Take Chaofa Road east direction Chalong and try to follow the signs to the zoo. Once you find the traffic light, turn left to the Zoo and continue for several kilometers direction 'Palai Seafood' which is another restaurant, but not as good. Just before reaching the Palai Seafood, you will see plenty of signboards pointing to the left. Follow them almost to the end of the road to find the entrance of the parking.

Reviews
A local food website rated Mor Mu Dong as the No. 1 restaurant in Phuket. Intrigued by a ranking of a restaurant I never heard of, I had to give it a try. After lunch at the restaurant, I can understand why it is ranked so high by Thais. Note I said by Thais as I think the place is not for every foreigner that is looking to eat there. True to the very local and hard-to-find dishes it offers, the rural and simple restaurant setup under thatched roofs in a plantation set the mood and tone of the dining experience. The restaurant is not easy to find, going past a few major tourist attractions into a quiet area of a road. The setting is not very inviting but once you get a table in the semi-open-air eating area, then you are relaxed. The stuffed fish here was wonderful, as were the pork and fried squid dishes. No fancy presentation, no sizable portions, no embellishments anywhere, just the kind of food you would expect to get if you were a rice farmer or local fisherman returning from work to a home-cooked meal.Service was happy and easy-going. The waitress that took care of us was charming and tried very hard to explain what each dish was.Mor Mu Dong is not on the radar on many Phuket visitors, but that is all well and good. This is a great place for unsophisticated southern food in a pleasant environment.
I was here on a sunday around lunch time, the place was packed. No other farangs there, food was excellent. Don't miss it.
My friends recommend me about it. When I came there, so surprise. because from the outside, Mor Mu Dong look like a garden than a restaurant. It have a large area with a lot of huts. The atmosphere so peaceful and cool. It's really an ideal place for enjoying the meal and relaxing. It's quite same a ecotourism area. The dishes was tasty with fresh seafood. they also serves a full raft of chicken dishes and a delicious pork dish with kruang nam prik – a fiery chilli sauce. I wish I could order entire menu. The price was not cheap but I think It totally worthy.
