Tips for you
We ate twice at this restaurant as it was arranged as part of our tour. The meal was good on both occasions, which soup, spring rolls, two meat dishes, a vegetable dish and rice. All the servings were generous and the food was tasty. We only had to pay for our drinks. A beer was less than £1 and a cocktail was about £2. Sapa is a beautiful town but not well-equipped for the weather in winter and, like most of the restaurants we passed, the heating was very meagre. So many diners had to eat wearing their jackets and coats. But, as I have said, this was the same with all the neighbouring establishments. My sister was celebrating her birthday and our tour guide had very kindly arranged for a cake with her name on it. The restaurant also generously gave everyone who was eating a glass of wine to toast her health, and they gave her a bottle of wine to take way. This was extremely generous of them and the staff were universally kind and helpful.
