Why Maafushi Private Beach is special ?
Private Beach is one of beautiful beaches in Maafushi Island. Maafushi is one of the inhabited islands of Kaafu Atoll, with a population of approx. 2000 people and a floating population of almost 5000 all year around, Maafushi islanders are generally known for their hospitality and welcoming nature.
Maafushi is not a resort island, this place is still full of locals with their day life still occurs. That means, tourists coming to Maafushi must do like a local do in order to respect the Muslim. And it's obviously that wearing bikini or less clothing is strictly prohibited in the mainland. However, there is in reality one stretch of beach in Maafushi (known more as a local island rather than an exclusive islet) where foreign visitors can wear their trunks / bikinis. This beach is called "Private Beach", or also known as "Bikini Beach", by invoking foreigners.
What to explore at Maafushi Private Beach?
Like other beaches on the world, Maafushi Private Beach is a place for you to relax and enjoy the stunning view of sunrise or sunset.
