Why Le Versace is special ?

Here’s a very thin and precarious line running between classy, tasteful décor and outright kitsch. The Versace, a French restaurant in Patong Beach, flirts with this line outrageously and manages – against all the odds – to come out on top.

Must try dishes:

- Diamond Forever

- Royal Mojita

- Pan-seared slice of duck liver with banana chutney and tamarind honey sauce

- Salmon marinated with kaffir lime and yellow lemon

- Lamb hind shank slow-cooked

- Wagyu Beef steak

The chef is french and he prepared us one of the best dishes I tasted in my life. He explained us everything about the dishes we had. It's a bit pricey but it's definitely worth it. We started with shrimps and a soup, then had beefsteak with au gratin potatoes (the best I had in my whole life) and finished with chocolate souffle with various exotic fruits. And the scene...super romantic..we ate on the outdoor terrace while being able to look at the sunset. Overall, place you should have on your food list if visiting Patong.
