Really nice people running it - speaking fluent French and English.
The meni is traditional French fare, and it is lovely.
The staff is pleasant and attentive. great place to hang out with friends and watch the world go by.
The canapes food (smoked salmon, saucissin, tuna rillette etc) and a selection from their menu, including quiche; green salad; potato, pasta and broccoli gratin; spinach gratin; pasta bolognaise is recommended
Good salad or gratin or pasta with tuna in a cool and charming place that makes great fun especially if you are for some time in Laos or thailand menu
If you arel peckish, madame in the kitchen learnt plenty about French cakes and petits fours in Paris.

Reviews
The husband/wife owners worked in hotels in Paris and it shows. Petit Jardin is really good. Spotlessly clean for a start. Really nice people running it - speaking fluent French and English. , .There are no surprises on the menu - it is traditional French fare, and it is lovely. My wife and I have been there a couple of times for lunch now. We go straight to the back page and share the two degustation dishes - one is of canapes (smoked salmon, saucissin, tuna rillette etc) and the second is a selection from their menu, including quiche; green salad; potato, pasta and broccoli gratin; spinach gratin; pasta bolognaise - I think there were 6 dishes in all. It is plenty enough for two people, and cost 120,000 kip all together ($15), and if you are still peckish, madame in the kitchen learnt plenty about French cakes and petits fours in Paris. For drinks, don't miss the passionfruit shake - sensational. We'll go again.
