Looking at Trip advisor, we went hunting for LaMu . Took us an hour and lots of walking, we finally located LaMu on google Map. For those looking, it is very near Sifang Square. However, we did not manage dinner as the restaurant was closed early due to Rain. Today, we went again and we went early. Atmosphere was great and so was food . We tried the "tomato soup". Really good . We tried the " Yak dumpling" very unique and delicious. Must try. The Tibetan tea...... Unique , but not really our type . The staff was friendly and we really had a great cozy dinner through sunset . Worth the trouble to l hunt down this place.

An oasis of calm, friendliness and hospitality in Lijiang. Wonderful food to choose from - Western, Chinese or Tibetan and wine by the glass. You have no idea how rare that is in China. Friendly staff, cherry trees and roses outside and great people watching from the window. Wish I was staying longer so I could go back.
