Reviews
Among the many possible places to eat fresh crab and seafood, this is a great choice. Compared to most of the others, it has comfortable seating, staff who know what to do, a substantial bar, and nice places to sit by the water. We went upstairs to the deck (in the sun) to relax by the water. The exposed deck furniture was a bit rustic, compared to some of the other seating downstairs; but it was good compared to the best that other places had to offer. Although the smoothies were good, the (raspberry) ice cream was great. We watched as crab pots floated and were tended by men and women, occasional boats passed by, and the sun split through the light layer of clouds to light up the water and distant islands. For lack of a better description, this place seemed organized (which is NOT a bad thing because it can result in good service from greeting to bill pay). Some reviewers say they didn't get smiles, but maybe in early afternoon it's not so crowded or rushed; we got a few smiles that were genuine. There are many places all along the water. The crab and fish are mostly the same. This place is better than most, definitely worth a visit if you are at the crab market. Enjoy the breeze, a drink, the comfort that is offered, and maybe a dish of ice cream; if you're lucky you'll get a good smile too!
