Tips for you

  • The walking street is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 to 22:00.
  • Don't miss on the tropical fruits, they are just amazing and juicy.
  • The prices are much cheaper compared to Ao Nang area, so you can not bargain anymore.
  • It's hard to find a seat to sit down and enjoy the food, so the food is just take-away.
  • The biggest problem is the communication. Even English is hardly understood, so be double sure of what you want .

After 5 days of gorgeous beach combing, a visit to the Night Market was more than welcome. We booked a trip with Barracuda Travels at THB 200 per head. They collected us from our hotel lobby in a comfortable minivan. In 30 mins we were at Krabi Town. The Night Market is a shopper's paradise and a foodie's dream come true. Over 200 mini yellow kiosks selling handicrafts, clothes, accessories and the most awesome street food at hard to believe prices. A karaoke stage, local children displaying their talent at traditional Thai instruments, it's a grand melting pot of culture - traditional and modern, suited to the budget of the most discerning traveller.
