Why Katsushika City Museum is special ?
Katsushika City Museum, opened in 1991, even has a digital planetarium, an astronomic observatory, a solar telescope and a spectroscope room. The Mizumoto Ordinary Elementary School.is located in an addition to the school building, in classroom 2. The room was used as a second grade classroom until March of 1982. For the purpose of preservation, the following year it was dismantled and reconstructed at this location and opened as the Museum of Education. Inside, about 1,400 items are on display, including old photos and textbooks, teaching materials and folk handicrafts.
What to explore at Katsushika City Museum?
This planetarium is located within the Katsushika City Museum. 360,000 stars are thrown onto the sky-dome with a new projector reinstalled in March 2007. The programs are always changing, so you're bound to experience something new any time you visit. Aside from the planetarium, the City Museum also has exhibits on the history of Katsushika, an astronomy display room and an astronomical observatory.
How to get to Katsushika City Museum?
By bus: Take a Keisei Bus bound for Tokorozaki Soshajyo from JR Kanamachi Station south exit /Keisei Kanamachi Station. Get off at the bus stop Mizumoto Shogakkomae (elemetary school) and walk for 2 minutes.

Tips for you
I went there because there was planning of Hawaii star in the summer. Because it is Katsushika of facility, it was cheap. You think I've sat in the seat to be more in easy-to-read. It was really beautiful! The lower floor, there is a history museum of Katsushika, it was interesting because some tools that have been used to the home and a long time ago reproduce the Showa. There was quite impressive. the parking is okay
