Why Kambol Go-Karts is special ?

Kambol Kart Raceway is a professional circuit in a rural setting just outside of Phnom Penh. It’s about 2km off the road to Sihanoukville.

Cambodia's only premier go-kart track of international standard 980m long circuit. Located on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, amidst lush countryside. Enjoy racing with friends on 6.5hp go-karts with top speeds of 65-70 kph. Popular venue for corporate team building, clubs' and associations' racing events, companies' and embassies' family days, etc.

What to explore at Kambol Go-Karts?

The track is over 900 metres long, with 11 turns and a 150 metre straight-away.

Workers are blissfully indifferent to the deportment of their customers, and speeds of over 60 km can be reached on the track. Drinking and driving is not only permitted but encouraged, and cold beers are served in the bar that overlooks the track, which is a pleasant place to hang if you happen to be terrified of driving. Luckily, they provide helmets and optional blue and yellow jumpsuits for both safety and style.

Go past the airport. As you near the end of the runway the highway splits in two. You go right on highway 4 for a fair way. Once you cross the train tracks look for the second Depot Tela (BP like green service station) on the right. There is a small sign by the big red A frame structure you turn right down. Sign says 900m away down a dirt road. Once you get down will see the big tyre where the track is.

This is a pretty cool track that you can get good speed on. Paid $12 for 10min which was more like 20 as we were the only ones out there and the guys were pretty relaxed. A mission to find though. Asked around in PP and not many people know about it. Took us 5 tuk tuk drivers and a local to translate but we got there. We paid $15US which we were happy with as it was bout an hour each way.
