Why K11 Art Concept Mall is special ?
What to explore at K11 Art Concept Mall?
K11 integrates the elements of art, people, and nature, with the aim to match New York City's SoHo. With this goal in mind, the mall spent HK$ 20 million placing numerous art pieces on each floor, totaling 13 groups, all handpicked by K11 Founder and Chairman, Zhi-Gang Zheng (Adrian Cheng).
From benches and ceiling ornaments to wall decorations and giant sculptures, the works of art come mostly from local artists, including Lee Chin-fai, Mok, Yat San and Man Fung-yi.
The venue also has 19 exhibition panels, displaying works by local artists, throughout the four storeys of the mall between stores. Exhibits change every 3 months.
The opening theme was painting exhibition, with 6 or 7 artists participating. The first exhibit unveiled on 18 December.

18 Hanoi Rd Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong
If you are into the trendiest shopping in Hong Kong, K11 is it. It’s not just a place to do shopping on art pieces and fashion, the street level has really cool video running decorations, a nice outdoor sitting area in the otherwise packed district, and some cafes and cool restaurants along side.
This mall has a good mix of mid-range to high-end stores, and free wifi virtually everywhere. I like their outdoor courtyard sitting area as well, and it's a good place to basically just hang out and rest your tired feet from all the walking
Living nearby for 3 months, I needed an affordable grocery store. The Marketplace downstairs is more affordable than City Super and has more to choose from than International.Get the salmon sashimi - wow. So good! There's a store called Kiss - try the cupcakes. There's always cool art pieces in this mall too. A Mona Lisa made of pieces of toast, birds flying around made of Legos. It's pretty nice here.
