Why Janggut Laksa is special ?
- Janggut
Laksa serves laksa with spoons, cutting the bee hoon short to make them
easy to scoop. The gravy is mildly spicy and has a slightly gritty texture from
the dried shrimps used to make the gravy.

Reviews
There have been several spin-offs of what store operators call the original Katong laksa, and I must say this is one of the better ones. The coconut curry soup base was delicious and mildly spicy with just the right consistency, with slight texture to reflect the grounded dried prawns and spices. The vermicelli was thick and smooth with a generous topping of prawns and sliced fish cake, and one can easily eat it with a spoon. The fish otah is also pretty good, and one can go for the fried chicken cutlet with rice if not in the mood for something spicy. They also offer chicken curry as an option. Service is really efficient!
