It is truly a hotel, elevator, cupboard to store your clothes, TV, towels, brush. On the other hand you share bathroom, toilet. There is also common area with free tea, coffee, and sugar. One thing that they don't have is rice cooker so you could cook rice yourself. But hey, they also have microwave and supermarket is just across the street. With 7 minutes walk from train station, this is a good hotel for budget traveller.

The rooms are very small, which might not suit some people, but if you only need a place to sleep in Tokyo they are fine. If you are spending time in your room you may not consider this the best option. Personally, I liked the hotel and thought it was really more like a youth hostel as it offered both dorms and single and double (bunk bed) rooms. The bathrooms were communal. The room has everything you really need although it is small. It has a single bed, which was comfortable enough (firm, not soft mattress), very small fridge, stool, desk, TV and cupboard. Air con and good lighting (2) was provided. It does not have a mirror in the room, which should be added, I think. The staff were very helpful, spoke some English (better than in many places in Japan) and available for answering questions. The bathrooms were clean and the lift worked well. There were plenty of clean towels available. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Minami-senju station along a main road which was a little noisy but with windows shut it is ok. The area is nothing special but not far from Asakusa and the Skytree etc, so reasonably convenient to this part of Tokyo. The trains are busy in the morning going into Tokyo, as it is a main commuter line. There are ample supermarkets and convenience stores in the area and you can also cook at the hotel in their small kitchen area. Two computers and three tables for eating and sitting at were in the main downstairs communal area. Washing machines for 200 yen and dryers were available, or you can hang your clothes outside to dry. Hairdryers were provided as well in the bathroom. One improvement could be the pillow. Most Westerners would not like a hard Japanese bean pillow. I would suggest the hotel provides western-style pillows. The room was clean. I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel for budget travellers. There are many other small hotels in the area, but this one is well suited to travellers.
