the rode is bussy and you need to set 5 hr off for the ride up it in car. But you will se natur that is out of this world. If you are cycle interested then you shut do Taiwan climbing race the KOM Challenge a challenge for even the most experiments rider 106km all up hill
We passed through here on the way from Cing Jing to Taroko Gorge. Beautiful, craggy mountains. It was like travelling in a Chinese painting. The dumplings at the highest petrol station were nice and reasonably priced. We did not get car sick. Perhaps it was because we took ginger pills and had a very careful driver.
