Why Flow House Bangkok is special ?

Flow Rider is an artificial wave machine and beach club in the heart of Bangkok that provides a great way for the whole family to have fun, keep fit and cool off – all while learning a new sport. Flowriding is basically an amalgamation of surfing and wakeboarding on an inflatable ramp which has a thin sheet of water pumped up and over it to simulate a perpetual breaking wave.

Flow House is also an awesome hang-out spot for those looking to escape Bangkok without leaving the city. Entry to our facility is totally free and we welcome everyone to come down and chill.

Flow House is Bangkok’s only urban beach club and brings a full-on beachside vibe to the city. Ride the wave, enjoy fantastic food, sip cool drinks, and hang out. Every day and night from 10am to Midnight at Flow House there’s an intimate beachside groove – and you’re invited.

As a skater/surfer I heard about flowhouse from a friend and came for the first time a few weeks ago. I'm now addicted and come almost everyday. In this time I've learned how to carve, ollie, drop-in, and 360!!!! I hope to add more tricks to that list very soon! :DYou start out on a body board for your first three tries and once you get that you can move on to the stand up board which is a cross between a wakeboard and a skateboard. When you first stand up they give you a rope to help you keep your balance and learn how the flow feels and works. You will definitely fall, but it won't hurt too bad as the surface is padded and the instructors tell you how to reduce injury and keep stuff to a minimum. If something happens they have an aid station there and will quickly help you get what you need. My friend got a minor cut when the board hit him and they got him all bandaged up free of charge. There are instructors on hand that walk you through everything no matter what level of skill you are at from never done any boardsports before to the pros. Whatever you want to learn they'll help you get there. I love how stoked they are when you land something new no matter your skill level. They will be just as stoked for your first carve as they will for a kickflip!Even though it's in the heart of Bangkok, it's got a much different vibe than the rest of the city. It feels like the beach without the beach and has a very relaxing vibe. Everyone here is having fun and you can really feel that!Their new membership program makes the FlowHouse very affordable. I looked up the prices in the states and wow! They are just a fraction of the cost here!If you surf, skate, snowboard, or wakeboard, you will especially love the flowhouse.

A visit to the Flow House Bangkok is a must if you are tired of sightseeing and the kids are giving you grief at visiting yet another shop or temple. They get enjoy a great experience of surfing, with expert facilitators, whist you relax with a glass of beer or something stronger (try their cocktail of the week) :) . The Flow House is a fun place to be, with a noisy disco on Friday, Saturday nights, plus the new menu has interesting dishes. Enjoy

This was my 5th time at Flow House Bangkok and as per the previous times it was a fantastic afternoon escape in Bangkok. We booked the 1pm session and other than a few other flowboarders and people enjoying the restaurant and general atmosphere it was relatively quiet giving us plenty of time to flowboard. Many of the group were first timers but were soon standing up and trying 360's/jumps etc (not very well I might add!)The staff were very attentive, they came over to our table on a couple of occasions to make sure we were ok, and it was nice to chill in the pool after with a cold beer. The location couldn't be any better - close to the BTS/MRT and many major attractions and it has all the facilities one would need.Highly recommended to anyone visiting Bangkok and looking for something a little different to do.
