Definitely worth making this a regular happening. Don't like classical, no worries! They got concerts for a variety of tastes!
This is the only place in KL that enforces events to start on time. Don't be late.
I love classical music and I'm so glad that there's a philharmonic orchestra in KL. I like their performance. The place and the acoustic is great, too. At least, take the middle seat to see the whole personnel. Mostly, they perform on Friday til Sunday. You can get their monthly schedule in the MPO shop downstairs. For the rare performances, you must book in advance or you don't get the ticket.
Tey jave a nice series where once a month they will change their young viewers programme. When we went it was rertedly not as good as some other times, but the programme that we misssed was Harry Potter's music. Sounds wonderful! It is not a huge music hall, which is good in it's own way. There are large cushions available to help children and other small people sit higher and see better (very customer friendly!). The accoustics were good enough for the performance I witnessed but I honestly cannot say much about the quality of the orchestra itself.
Brilliant, excellent and extraordinary experience. NO other words I can gather from my last visit. Worth every penny, grand and nice musics.
