Go for row "J" in the middle for best view in the 800 baht section, although as the seats are staggered and tiered, you get a good view pretty much anywhere. -The place is actually in Jomtien, on Thepprasit Road, so a lot more quiet than Pattaya, with way easier traffic. -It is also shiny and new, marble halls and a large reception area, where you can relax in a fine airconditioned waiting area.Location

You will have a various range of chairs that you can pick if you come early. I was lucky to be in a first row :)
Everyone who has come to Pattaya has been to either Tiffany or Alcazar, the two most famous transvestite cabaret shows in Thailand. They have a new contender since last year and it is excellent! The Coloseum opened last year, and during this year's visit we decided to try it out. The place is actually in Jomtien, on Thepprasit Road, so a lot more quiet then Pattaya, with way easier traffic. It is also shiny and new, marble halls and a large reception area, where you can relax in a fine airconditioned waiting area. The stage is large with great props, and the actors wear beautiful costumes and it is nice to hear new music, Chinese, Thai, Western and even Russian. The seats are great, much better then either Tiffany or Alcazar. If you get the VIP seats, you will sit in the first few rows and get a free drink when you arrive. The crowd is the usual, large number of Chinese, some Russians (not that many yet) and some Westerners. This is really a new place, so many tourgroups seem not to have discovered it yet. After the show you can take pictures with the performers, which are definitely not shy to be in pictures. All in all, a very good show, in a beautiful location. What is a useful tip: buy the tickets at one of the many travel agents. We bought VIP tickets for 600 baht (less then 15 euro) per person. At the Colosseum itself they sell for a 1000. We sat in the second row so had a great view.
