Reviews
The café bibliotic hello! (yes, that's an awesome name already) is an amazing place to flee the touristy crowds of kyoto in order to mingle with cool Japanese hipsters, relax with an architecture or interior design book and simply enjoy great coffee and tea. i found this gem of a café on my way to the imperial palace, but since there were some gloomy clouds already hanging from the sky, i decided to go for a coffee first and oh my! What’s a great decision! while listening to the rain dropping on the giant banana leaves outside, i snuggled up inside with a good book and a hot coffee and watched occasionally the locals stopping by (not to mention that i never made it to the palace on that day). i loved this place so much that i actually returned there on my last day in kyoto and found out that they're serving excellent lunch as well and apparently also having a dinner menu. Absolute favorite of mine!
It's a popular and famous local cafe! You can find something about this cafe in some books or magazine specialized cafe in Kyoto. It seems almost all guide books pick up this cafe! This cafe is renovated Machiya to a cafe and inside of this cafe they have big walls of book shelves and large table that seems to be good for studying. They are contributed really cozy place to us and great for reading books with cool music. You can stay as long as you want because some places are having purposely uncomfortable chairs. They're not like for you to stay longer. But this place totally opposites. And here is one better thing is that they are opening by 24:00. Normally cafe is closing earlier. If you are a bookworm and want to catch up on reading with cozy feeling, you should drop in here! But only one thing that I mentioned that is price. Everything is more expensive than others.
A cozy coffee shop to hang out in. Grab some pastries at their little shop next door, or order from the menu - they have light lunches, desserts, and excellent coffee.
