Tips for you
Just few steps from the night market and at the opposite of the harbor, so the location is great. Price is lil bit expensive but it's okay when traveling. Staff were friendly. Been here many times and their Western food was really good, such as salad, sandwich, hamburger. They even have free computer and internet for customers :)
We found this by chance when wandering in the town looking for somewhere for coffee. It is a very western style cafe/ice cream parlour and we decided to have a light lunch. The food and service were good and the the other facilities (wifi, toilets etc) worked well. Watching the light but chaotic traffic go by was a bonus.
The main course meals were an utter let down , n the juices were topped up with sugar , so much of it that I couldn't bring myself to have more than 2 sips. The ambience was decent , filled with foreigners .. I guess as the general saying goes ' never eat at a place packed with tourists in ASIA' holds true . Never again.
After walking in the midday soaring heat of Vietnam we saw this place and decided to check it out. The menu was good and they had ICECREAM!!! So we sat down and ordered a hamburger made of Australian imported beef and some springrools. It was hard to communicate that I wanted the hamburger well done(i do not take risks with medium cooked meat in Asia, or any non-top restaurants for that matter) and it was served medium... I sent it back so the meat can grill longer. The hamburger meal was good. Springrools were avarage. The icecream was good and the service very nice. Some russians dined next to us thinking they are in a Michelin restaurant, driving the staff nuts and posing like they are in Monaco; we saw that as our free lunch entertainment. I would come back here. Great find on this small island. Yeaaahhhhh buddy!
