How to get to Black Dragon Pool Park?
1. Take bus no. 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 or 9, and get off at Heilongtan Station.
2. 15 minutes walking from the Old Town of Lijiang or taking a taxi. Taxi fare is around CNY 10 to 15.

This city park is accessed with the same "Maintenance ticket" purchased for the old town in Lijiang. The park is a short walk away from the old town along the river. The park has some temples, and several lounging areas with benches, bushes and flowers. The main picture spot is just past the south entrance where you get a bridge, a small pagoda and the mountain in the background.
Beautiful park and pond with mountains in the distance. Apart from the path around the lake you can also climb a path up the hill to the east. It's a lot of steps but worthwhile for the magical views of Lijiang and surrounds from the summit.
