Why Art Cafe is special ?
Art Cafe is owned by Vo Trinh Bien, a famous artist in Vietnam. Driven by a passion for art since childhood, Vo Trinh Bien determined to explore a new style of drawing that can’t be imitated. Found Art Cafe right in the heart of Dalat, Bien shared his unique works cover the inside walls of the restaurant. Certainly, guests to his restaurant will be treated with food and art and Bien will be happy to convey his passion and explain his techniques to guests. Tips for you
Not to be confused with Art Cafe next door (as I understand, the owner lost his former business and opened the 'new' Art Cafe nearby). Very friendly waitress, attentive service. At first, she misunderstood our order and we got two mango salads and one mango shake (instead of 1 salad and 2 shakes), but I decided to go for it and try the salad too. It was nice, so in the end there was no real problem. Pumpkin soup was literally the best I've had in Vietnam during a week and a half. Clay pot with chicken was also nice. When we got our bill, the owner came to ask how was our food - really nice of him. Apparently, he wasn't in the mood for painting this day, but we came for tasty food and got it :) Really hope that more customers would come, as we were the only people for most of the time.
