Why Aquaria KLCC is special ?
Nestled in the heart of the bustling Golden Triangle and within walking distance from the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, Aquaria KLCC is a state-of-the-art aquarium showcasing over 5,000 different exhibits of aquatic and land-bound creatures over a sprawling multi-level space in the Concourse Level of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
From the tropical waters of the Asian region to the rainforests of the world, Aquaria KLCC takes you on a journey to discover the fascinating nature of aquatic life as well as the unique behaviour of animals and crawly creatures above water.
Immerse in an absorbing aquatic experience (without getting your feet wet!) from the moment you enter Aquaria KLCC. An educational study charting the course of natural waters flowing from the highlands to the streams and deep sea is devised to help visitors appreciate water as a habitat and ecosystem.
Highlights include a 90-metre tunnel tank with a moving travelator where you can marvel at Sand Tiger sharks, stingrays, marine turtles and other sea creatures swimming around unhindered in the vast oceanarium, a spectacular live show of divers feeding these creatures at meal times and a rare opportunity to come into contact with live starfish and bamboo shark at the Touchpool area.

What to explore at Aquaria KLCC?
As you enter Aquaria, you will be greeted by incredibly friendly staffs who are eager to help you and make your visit here at the Aquaria a pleasant one.
As you step into its entrance, you will be transported to a different world. The Aquaria's layout is intelligently structured and planned to allow visitors to have an unforgettable experience.
Each and every display cubicle in the Aquaria is beautifully made to mimic the natural habitat of the animals which are exhibited. There are also stations around the Aquaria where visitors can touch some of the aquatic animals there such as the tiger sharks and the starfishes.
The tunnel has some very special occupants-killer sharks. If you have never seen a real one, you can see them here up close. After you are done exploring the underwater world, you can step out of the Aquaria and into the shopping world inKuala Lumpur Convention Center.

Reviews
Occupying 60,000sqft in the concourse level of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Aquaria KLCC is a world-class giant aquarium housing thousands of marine species from all over the world.
Entrance fee a bit expensive which is RM35 fr Malaysian but worth it lah since gt lots of fishes in here, also gt turtle, sharks, snakes, piranha, starfish (cute). So happy!!! :p
This is where you'll find more than 250 species of aquatic and land animals. You can also dive with sharks and other beautiful water creatures. Open daily, from Monday to Friday.
Check for feeding times for best experience - piranha, sharks, arapaima, turtles and stingray schedules are on different time and different days.
This place lacks marine attractions and they try hard to include other showcase ie geckos, spiders, snakes just to name a few which make no sense at all. Souvenir shop was huge though!
Loved, loved, loved it! Loved the moving sidewalk through the aquarium. Huge stingray and turtle glided right over us and made our day! Felt like I was swimming with Nemo. Will surely do it again!
This is just an excellent place to visit if you are with friends or family. I went with my friends in early 2010 and the environment is fabulous. They have Sharks even Piranha, I have seen all those in movies before and they had a feeding session for piranhas if you want but it takes some charges for it. The smallest fish to largest can be seen. Nice Glass setup perfect for hanging out, There is a Electric eel which gives power to some part of the Aquarium too. Nice to go with Girlfriend and family either with old people or kids.
